Our culture is focused on changing rapidly as technology does. As new products, solutions, and methodologies are created or evolve, we learn and evolve with them. This is key when identifying our clients' needs so we can carefully craft these into security programs for an effective solution.
Our Mentality
We choose to deliver the best services by working with our preferred vendor partners to create intensive training programs that push our consultants to constantly and consistently expand their knowledge base. We believe the more knowledgeable our consultants are with a wide variety of solutions, the more capable they are of delivering the best results and making the most customized solutions. By staying up to date with global threat intelligence feeds and Indications of Compromise (IOC) we have the ability to put preventive controls in place to protect organizations from being infiltrated and having their image being negatively impacted. The threat landscape is growing, and our goal is always to prevent our clients from being adversely impacted by those threats.

Partners
Patrick Raycroft
Patrick has 30 years of IT experience in the manufacturing and retail industries. He has extensive experience as part of senior management teams at BP and Amoco. He directed the development and implementation of IT consolidation and integration efforts required to support two successive multi-billion dollar mergers. He managed the design and implementation of Amoco's retail systems including their site networking and card processing platforms. Patrick has also led retail site architecture work, developed vendor strategies and executed RFP processes for POS and site connectivity, and developed strategies for loyalty programs. Currently, he is a managing partner of the W. Capra Consulting Group focusing on retail technology.

Terry Mahoney
Terry is an expert at identifying and addressing the organizational impacts of information technology and redesigning business processes to capitalize on today's technologies. He has a proven track record in enterprise-scale information technology projects, including large project management and technical architecture and strategy. As an experienced industry consultant, Terry brings a wealth of business, technology, and consultancy acumen and as a bonus; he has a storehouse of funny stories. We don't know where he learned the funny stories.

Doug Rodewald
Doug has spent his career working with clients spanning QSR, Convenience and Fuel Retail, education, daily deal and publications to identify, design and implement solutions to improve their businesses. Currently Doug is focused on establishing W. Capra as the leader in retail technology and payments consulting and to continue to support its clients as the definition and delivery of commerce continues to evolve. Doug also applies his leadership talents to community issues and non-profit organizations. He has participated in Habitat for Humanity, Chicago Cares and has spoken to Chicago students on the importance of technology and successful communication.

Arber has been with W. Capra since May of 2014. He is a graduate of University of Nebraska and Northern Illinois University, respectively. Mark Allendorf
Mark has over 19 years of experience with retail petroleum and c-store technology, project and operations management with an expertise in assisting retailers in testing and implementing backoffice applications and POS solutions. In these roles, he has developed proven team leadership skills for all aspects of c-store operations. Mark enjoys spending his spare time with his wife, kids and granddaughter and working with the Boy Scouts.

Loren Allston
Loren has over 18 years of managerial and consulting experience, including, but not limited to strategic business planning, organization alignment and prioritization, and designing, building, testing and deploying retail system solutions and supporting technologies. He enjoys family time which includes watching his Daughters excel at softball and running in 5K/15K fun themed races (Boilermaker, Rock and Roll Marathon, Zombie run, etc.).

Matt Beale heads our Security and Architecture Practice. He has over 15 year's experience working in many facets of IT with a strong focus on global retail organizations. Sue Chan
Sue has 20 years of experience in the implementation, management, testing, and maintenance of retail technology and payment/loyalty transaction systems. She has an effective ability to relate the impact of business processes to changes or disruptions in the retail environment. Sue is an active participant in Conexxus (formally PCATS); Chairs the Standards Quality Assurance committee as well as sitting on the Board of Advisors. In her free time, she enjoys baking and a leisurely game of golf.

Matt Daniel
He earned a B.S. in Security & Risk Assessment from the Pennsylvania State University in 2011. After graduating from Penn State, he went on to work for a managed service provider for a regional IBM service partner before re-focusing his efforts in the retail sector. After spending 13 months as an information security analyst for a major men’s clothier, Matt decided he wanted to share his well-versed information security knowledge by consulting with organizations facing similar cyber threats. He has earned several professional accolades, most notably from the prestigious SANS Institute, National Security Agency, and Committee on National Security Systems. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing and working on projects with Raspberry Pi miniature computers.

Nick Fredrick
Nick brings 15 years of merchant-focused financial, technology, and operational experience to W. Capra. He is known for bridging gaps between technical and non-technical resources to drive key initiatives to success. By utilizing people, process and technology he focuses on end goals to develop and implement solutions resulting in incremental revenue, partner synergies, reduced expenses, and simplified processes. Ken Kalal
Ken has over 25 years of practical experience in project leadership and service delivery management, specifically in the implementation and support of retail site systems. His most recent experience involved implementation and support of loyalty programs for a large petroleum/c-store retailer. He has extensive experience with site systems including technology infrastructure, POS solutions, payment/loyalty systems and processors, networks, forecourt controllers and integration to dispensers, back office and automated tank monitoring systems. He is certified in ITIL V3 Foundation. Ken enjoys spending time with his children, grandson, traveling and riding his Harley.

Josh has provided technology integration, project management and consulting services for more than 14 years for enterprise applications in the food service industry. These projects have involved inventory, financial and workforce management applications in headquarter offices and thousands of satellite locations. Josh adds a diverse skill set, cross-functional management style, unique personality, innovative ideas and interpersonal skills to the existing W. Capra team. Josh lives in N.
